This morning we will delve into the challenges and opportunities of Ukraine’s EU accession and the role of European security guarantees.

Olena Sotnyk - Rasmussen Global’s Senior Representative in Ukraine, advising governments and businesses navigating the country’s wartime challenges. She also serves as an advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olha Stefanishyna, continuing her mission to align Ukraine’s policies with European standards. A former Member of the Parliament of Ukraine (2014–2019) representing the Samopomich ("Self-Reliance") Party, Sotnyk played a crucial role in legislative reforms, particularly in the areas of the rule of law, judicial transformation, and anti-corruption efforts. During her tenure in parliament, she served as Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on European Integration and chaired the Sub-Committee on the Approximation of Ukrainian Legislation to EU Law.
Heidi Nordby Lunde is Chair of Europabevegelsen (The European Movement International Norway), and has been a member of the Norwegian Parliament for more than 11 years, representing Oslo County and the Conservative Party. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs, member of the European Consultative Committee and member of the Delegation to EFTA and EEA Parliamentary Committees
